Location & Accessibility
Green Hydes Riverside Camp is located in the serene area of Cayabu, Tanay, Rizal — a great spot for those looking to unwind close to nature. As you enter the access road to the campsite, there’s an environmental fee collected: ₱50 for sedans and ₱30 for motorcycles. The road includes about a 3-kilometer stretch of rough terrain, so be prepared for a bumpy ride. Thankfully, there are no river crossings required, making the campsite accessible to all vehicle types, including motorcycles and small cars.
First Impressions
Our first impression was very good. A big plus for us — especially since we care about our family’s safety is that the campsite is gated, which made us feel secure. They also have a dedicated parking area just for campers, so you don’t have to worry about where to leave your vehicle.

The place is very spacious, and each camping spot has its own net shade, which is great for keeping cool during the day. Another thing we loved is the playground. My daughter had so much fun playing there — it’s a nice bonus for families with kids.

Facilities
Clean Toilets and Showers

No need to worry about cleanliness — the toilets and showers are always spotless, making your daily routine a breeze. They clean the toilets and showers every morning, ensuring everything stays fresh and hygienic.
Dedicated Dishwashing Area

They’ve set up a special wash area just for dishes, so you can keep your kitchen space tidy without hassle.
Shared But Comfortable Spaces

The toilets and showers are common to both the girls’ and boys’ rooms, designed thoughtfully for everyone’s convenience.
Extra Seating Just for You
Need a little extra space to work or eat? They provide an additional table and two chairs, perfect for your needs.
Cozy Bonfire Area

When the sun sets, gather ’round the bonfire area for great conversations and good vibes. The bonfire usually starts at 8 PM, and the staff will notify you beforehand. They ring bells multiple times as a signal that the bonfire will begin shortly.
Bidet in Every Toilet — Yes!

You read that right! Every toilet is equipped with a bidet, adding an extra touch of comfort and hygiene that you’ll appreciate.
The River

Accessibility to the river is easy, perfect for quick trips and enjoying nature.
One thing we noticed by the river was some trash, which my daughter and I picked up. As a friendly reminder to all campers, please be sure to leave no trash behind and help keep the river clean.
WiFi and Signal Reception
Good news — the WiFi here is free! They use a Starlink connection that averages around 30 to 40 Mbps, and I personally experienced speeds up to 90 Mbps, so streaming and browsing are generally smooth.

However, there’s no mobile signal for Smart subscribers in the area. I’m not sure about Globe or other providers since we’re using Smart, but it’s definitely a good chance to unplug and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Price & Booking
Camping here costs ₱700 per camper, and kids 12 years old and below stay absolutely free! (There’s a limit of 2 free kids per group.) The camping slots are limited, so you don’t need to worry about overcrowding — it stays nice and peaceful. To reserve your spot, a 50% downpayment is required.
Check-in time is normally at 2 PM, and checkout is by 12 noon. They kindly allowed us to check out at 2 PM, giving us extra time to pack and prepare without rushing. Early check-in as early as 10 AM is also possible if your camping slot is available — we were lucky enough to get in at 10 AM.

Staff & Services

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and well taken care of. They even helped us carry our camping bags and gear from the car to our camping slot — a thoughtful gesture that made settling in much easier.
A special mention goes to Marissa, who was especially warm and welcoming. She also did her best to handle a situation where some campers were still being noisy even after quiet hours. Despite her efforts and multiple warnings, unfortunately, the group continued to be disruptive. Still, it was clear she genuinely tried to maintain a peaceful environment for everyone.
The staff were easy to approach and kept us updated — especially with the bonfire schedule. They ring bells to signal when it’s about to start, which adds a charming, campy vibe.
They also have snacks and ice cubes available for sale in case you want a quick bite or forgot to bring something cold. Just another small touch that shows they’ve thought of the little things to make your stay more comfortable.
Overall Experience
Our camping trip was an unforgettable experience — peaceful, refreshing, and filled with little thoughtful touches that made all the difference. From the clean facilities and friendly staff to the cozy bonfire nights and accessible riverside, everything was designed with care and intention. The highlight was simply being able to slow down, enjoy nature, and spend quality time with my family.
There were a few hiccups, like some noisy neighbors who didn’t fully respect quiet hours, but the staff did their best to address it. We also noticed some trash in the river — a gentle reminder for all campers to clean up after themselves and help preserve the natural beauty of the place.
With the free Starlink Wi-Fi, we were still able to stay connected when needed — even if our mobile provider (Smart) had no signal in the area.
All in all, it was a peaceful getaway that reminded us of the beauty of simple moments. If you’re looking for a spot to disconnect from the chaos and reconnect with nature and your loved ones, this place is absolutely worth visiting.
